And now for something completely different: Domenic Parisella, owner of Pure Paradise Pets in Johnston, brought several of the store's resident snakes to a PWF Northeast Wrestling event, held at the Joslin Community Center in Providence, on Saturday, Feb. 19. Kids and adults attending the matches, as well as several of the wrestlers, had their photos taken with the snakes and also with "Thriller," an alligator owned by Peter Santanelli, originally from Johnston, now of West Warwick, during intermission. Thriller has his own Facebook page (Thrillerthegator) and a growing fan base. The next PWF Northeast Live event will be held on Saturday, March 19, at the Davey Lopes Rec Center in Providence.
